World Premiere The World Premiere of Oratorio Terezin took place on November 1st/2nd 2003 in the George Weston Hall, Toronto. Hailed by the critics as a 'magnificent new choral work' the Oratorio Terezin is dedicated to the victims of the Holocaust as well as to bringing a message of hope and reconciliation to the nations. Orchestra: NEW STREAMS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRANew Streams Symphony Orchestra (NSSO) is made up of some of the finest of Canada's professional musicians, drawn from the best orchestras in the region of Toronto and the surrounding area. ChoirThe children's choir for the Toronto performances was a group of 60 choristers who were selected through an audition process. Drawn from the Greater Toronto area, many of the children had significant experience in other established choirs. The mixed choir had a core of 20 professional singers, and 40 semi professional which made up the remainder of the group.
